How to Install Our Shift Knobs

Upgrade your BMW’s shift knob with ease by following these simple steps!

What You Need: One Condor shift knob of your choice, one shift cap, a ratchet with 3/8” hex socket, and a 3/32” hex key.

Installation Steps:

  1. Firmly pull the original BMW shift knob straight up to detach.
  2. For the tall knob, it is optional to use the 3/8” hex socket to remove the set screw and remove the weight for a lighter shifter feel.
  3. Align the new knob with the shaft and press it firmly onto the shaft.
  4. Tighten the set screws on the side using the 3/32” hex key.
  5. Peel the backing off the shifter cap, and press it firmly onto the top of the knob.
