• Armageddon Collection - Extreme Track: Built for the track junkie, these aluminum engine mounts eliminate all engine movement, ensuring maximum power delivery and zero sway. They are designed for high-horsepower, race-ready builds that demand peak performance.

Will polyurethane engine mounts increase engine noise or vibration?

Yes, polyurethane motor mounts are stiffer than solid rubber mounts, which can slightly increase engine vibration, especially at lower speeds or under hard acceleration. While they provide reduced engine movement, the trade-off is a firmer ride with a bit more vibration. This is a natural characteristic of polyurethane mounts, and while it may be more noticeable compared to rubber mounts, it’s a small sacrifice for the performance gains they provide.

What makes polyurethane engine mounts preferable to other engine mounts?

While solid rubber mounts are typically the stock option in most vehicles, polyurethane motor mounts offer a significant performance upgrade. Polyurethane is stiffer than rubber but not as hard as UHMW, providing reduced engine movement with better vibration control when compared to our stiffer mounts. This means more precise handling and better overall performance, especially in performance-driven applications, without the excessive engine vibration you might get with solid mounts. How do they compare to OEM mounts in NVH?

Our VIP collection offers the lowest amount of NVH (noise, vibration & harshness) of all our engine mounts. Compared to OEM rubber engine mounts, you will notice a slight increase in NVH, which can vary from chassis to chassis. For more information, check out our hardness chart.

Can I drift or race with the VIP mounts?

We do not suggest regular track use with the VIP mounts. Although the caged design is up to the task, our Classic and Armageddon engine mounts are much better suited for maximum performance.
