E46 Strut Tower Brace Installation Guide

Our E46 rear strut bar is designed for simple installation that requires no special tools. In just a few easy steps, you can enhance your car’s suspension and handling performance:

  1. Locate Rear Shock Mounts: Open the trunk and remove the interior panels covering the rear shock towers.
  2. Loosen and Remove Shock Mount nuts: Carefully remove the nuts securing the top of the rear shock mounts.
  3. Position the Strut Bar: Align the Condor Strut Bar so the bar faces forward and the end with the offset holes is on the passenger side. Install over the shock mount studs, ensuring the mounting plates sit evenly over the shock towers.
  4. Secure the Strut Bar: Tighten the nuts, securing the bar to the rear shock mounts.
  5. Verify and Adjust: Ensure everything is tight and properly aligned. Your rear shock towers are now reinforced and your rear suspension is ready for action!
