How to Install Our Weighted Shift Knobs

Installing your new Condor weighted tall shift knob is a straightforward process that requires just a few tools. Make sure you have the Condor weighted tall shifter and cap, a ratchet with a 3/8” hex socket, and a 3/32” hex key ready before you begin.

Installation Steps:

  1. Remove Old Shift Knob: Pull the old knob straight up to detach it from the shifter shaft.
  2. Adjust Weight (Optional): To adjust the knob’s weight, use a 3/8” hex socket to remove the set screw and slide the weight out.
  3. Attach New Knob: Press the Condor shift knob onto the shift lever.
  4. Secure the Knob: Tighten the three set screws on the side using the 3/32” hex key to ensure the knob is firmly attached and will not rotate.
  5. Install Shifter Cap: Remove the backing from the new cap and press it firmly onto the top of the knob for a secure fit.
